We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our Redtree LATAM team and lead the Instrumentation & Control discipline on large-scale industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, set technical direction, and shape the delivery of high-impact energy and industrial projects.
Position Overview
As a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer, you will lead the I&C discipline across EPC, EPCM, and engineering projects. You will define the technical direction of the discipline and take ownership of engineering deliverables, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Instrumentation & Control discipline on EPC, EPCM, and engineering projects.
Define control and automation philosophies, design criteria, and engineering standards.
Supervise and review engineering deliverables.
Lead technical reviews with clients and vendors.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Evaluate technology solutions and control system architectures.
Manage technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
Contribute to engineering estimates, proposals, and tenders.
Ensure compliance with project technical, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
More than 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control on industrial, energy, oil & gas, chemical, or large-scale process projects.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Ability to coordinate tasks and contribute across multiple concurrent projects.
