We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer to help build and support the services powering live event management, media processing, asset distribution, and hybrid edge-caching solutions. You will work on Go microservices, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems that support media workflows.
This role requires solid backend engineering fundamentals, working experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures, and an interest in learning how to solve complex media and streaming challenges at scale.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Go microservices using gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and grpc-gateway

Contribute to backend services that support live event lifecycle management and media workflow operations

Support and improve hybrid media-cache services that connect on-prem file systems with Google Cloud Storage

Implement features under the guidance of senior engineers, from API design and protobuf schemas to deployment

Build and maintain event-driven services with Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Workflows

Integrate services with Google Cloud media APIs, including Live Stream API, Transcoder API, Video Intelligence, and Vision AI

Write unit, integration, and load tests to protect core workflows

Help improve observability, monitoring, and performance of existing services

Work with DevOps on Kubernetes deployments, Helm, Terraform, and GKE rollouts

Participate in design reviews and code reviews for services you contribute to
Requirements

3+ years of professional backend development experience, including 2+ years building services in Go
-
Good understanding of Go concurrency patterns, context-aware programming, error handling, and graceful shutdown

Practical API design skills with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, grpc-gateway, and RESTful services

Working experience with cloud platforms and cloud APIs for backend integrations

Solid backend engineering fundamentals with awareness of service reliability and performance best practices

Minimum English language level of B1+ for collaboration and technical communication
