This role is part of Accenture Research’s Economics of AI center of excellence and Economic Research team.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in economic and macroeconomic analysis, including setting up economic models, developing reusable code, and building datasets for applied economics research. The ideal candidate will be able to connect macroeconomic trends with industry dynamics and enterprise-level implications, translating data and model outputs into relevant insights for business and research stakeholders.
The candidate will be working closely with other teams of economists, data scientists, market researchers, and industry experts to guarantee a successful collaboration between data-driven outputs and storytelling deliverables.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Frame economic research problems
- Help in the design and execution of groundbreaking and differentiated economic research at the intersection of economics, business and technology
- Develop novel data-driven approaches to support current and future research projects. Support global research projects on themes aligned to Accenture priorities: GenAI adoption, frontier AI models, productivity analysis, geopolitical competition, enterprise reinvention, industry trends, and the future of work
- Collaborate in raising awareness and understanding of economic and data science research tools and outputs within Accenture and Accenture Research (econometric modeling, text analytics, sentiment analysis, data-wrangling, machine learning, generative AI)
Experience and skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure problems, interpret data, and draw clear insights.
- Proven ability to make sense out of different data types (unstructured, vendor, high frequency, text based, survey based)
- Proficiency in Python or similar object-oriented programming languages. Exposure to data science practices is a plus, including data manipulation, SQL, quality assurance practices, and familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as GCP.
- Knowledge of text-based analysis with LLMs and interest in applying them to research questions.
- Experience in writing reusable code, and datasets
- Strong interest in the economic research agenda, including Economics, Labor, Technology and Business analytics .

Qualifications: BA in Economics is a must. Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Administration, Data Science is a plus.
Work Experience: 4+ years of relevant economic research experience in global / large private corporation or institution, research think tank or recognized research government agency
Location: Buenos Aires
