About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) who thrives in ownership-driven environments and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.
This is a highly autonomous role where you'll own large cross-service initiatives from design through production, define technical direction, and help shape engineering standards across the organization.
While you may specialize in either frontend or backend development, you'll be expected to work across the stack and take ownership of reliability, cloud infrastructure, deployment, and AI-enabled engineering workflows.
What You'll Do
- Own large, cross-service engineering initiatives from design through production.
- Define technical direction for services and components.
- Design scalable APIs, data models, and application architecture.
- Improve engineering velocity through trunk-based development and continuous delivery.
- Own deployment pipelines, infrastructure, observability, and service reliability.
- Build AI-enabled workflows with proper evaluation, guardrails, and human oversight.
- Lead incident response and continuously improve operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and elevate engineering standards.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading large production initiatives across multiple services.
- Experience influencing technical direction within engineering teams.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Golang or TypeScript.
- Extensive experience building backend services with Node.js (NestJS preferred).
- Experience with React, React Native, or Next.js.
- Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and database design experience.
- Experience designing scalable APIs and distributed systems.
Cloud & DevOps
- Hands-on experience operating production workloads in AWS or GCP.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and SLOs.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure costs and operational ownership.
AI Experience
We're looking for engineers who actively leverage AI as part of their engineering workflow—not just AI users, but engineers who can design AI-enabled systems with proper evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
