Description
Responsible for driving the planning and execution of go-to-market (GTM) tactics, projects, and deliverables to generate revenue and pipeline growth for the Full-Service Solutions portfolio at Syneos Health. Areas of involvement or responsibility include the development of customer-facing promotional materials, customer segmentation and targeting, business development team enablement, omnichannel marketing campaign development planning and execution support, and management of qualifying pipeline reporting and forecasting. This role requires a demonstrated track record of being able to understand the customer landscape, self-resourcefulness, cross-functional collaboration skills, intense attention to detail, complex data modeling skills, and ability to leverage the latest AI tools to scale efficient work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Works closely with the Senior Director of GTM to manage and execute tactics on the comprehensive GTM plan. Helps shape and drive the annual plan to hit team KPI’s.

Conducts competitive landscape assessments by analyzing competitive activity across relevant offerings and segments. Identifies opportunities for differentiation.

Identifies priority target customers for the business based on multi-layered analytical methodologies.

Supports Senior Director of GTM with strategy, planning, stakeholder alignment, goal setting, execution, and follow-up plans on demand generation tactics.

Owns end-to-end the strategy, planning, and execution of select marketing and demand generation tactics such as conferences, custom events, or webinars. Capable of leading and running high-visibility tasks with minimal direction.

Produces agile, customer-ready collateral to support new offerings, shifts in strategy, or evolving market demands.

Supports the development of thought leadership pieces and whitepapers used in campaigns by coordinating relevant teams and providing input based on business and industry experience.

Optimizes and automates weekly qualifying pipeline reporting processes, including integrating functionality between systems or tools (Salesforce, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) in collaboration with IT.

Reports out regularly in streamlined fashion the qualifying pipeline (early-stage opportunities), including source, potential, and tracking conversions to late-stage pipeline and win/loss.

Uses AI and other advanced research tools to streamline analysis of complex datasets relevant to biotech asset targeting and segmentation.

Designs working session approaches, develop content, and facilitate working sessions as needed.

Leads or provides ad-hoc support for special projects, including cross-department workstreams, while independently managing deadlines and competing commitments.

Communicates detailed, appropriate direction to international support staff and vendors / co-sponsors; effectively manage upward and amongst peers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Required
-
5+ years’ work experience in life sciences industry (pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical device, service provider, consulting, or healthcare technology)

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, or Business Administration or Marketing

Demonstrated very strong written and verbal proficiency in English (all business communications will be in English)

Demonstrated strong analytical aptitude and data analysis skills

High proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Ability to explain complex concepts in slide/visual form

Previous experience with enterprise AI tools (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, etc.) to automate workflows, scale work, and make more informed business decisions

Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence to effectively navigate a matrixed environment

Ability to handle ambiguity and multiple concurrent assignments on short timelines

Manages competing priorities and instructions

Experience operating in a global organization with teams distributed worldwide

Ability to travel internationally infrequently (1-2x per year max) for internal meetings, customer events, or conferences
Preferred

Master’s Degree (STEM field or MBA)

General understanding of the general pharmaceutical development process

Working knowledge of biotech investment cycle and ability to read company financial statements (10-K’s, quarterly reports, etc.)

Advanced AI capabilities – ability to build and self-train agents to complete a variety of go-to-market and business development tasks
