Tax CoE Analyst
Location: Martinez, Provincia de Buenos Aires
4 days on site, 1 day home office
Job summary
We are looking for a Tax Specialist to join our Southern Cone team. In this role, you will be responsible for tax compliance through the preparation and filing of national, provincial, and municipal tax returns, as well as their respective withholding and collection regimes. The Southern Cone tax team supports tax management for Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay, with initial responsibilities focused on Argentina before taking on the challenge of developing regional expertise.
Responsibilities:
Calculate and file national, provincial, and municipal taxes.
Prepare annual tax returns for Gross Income Tax (Ingresos Brutos), Income Tax (Ganancias), and Transfer Pricing.
Operate tax systems and official tax applications.
Analyze withholding and collection regimes for Gross Income Tax, VAT (IVA), and Income Tax.
Perform tax account reconciliations and enter accounting journal entries.
Load customer and vendor tax profiles, as well as tax tax registry databases (padrones), into the system.
Prepare tax forms, external filings, reports, and parent company reporting.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain systems updated according to current laws.
Liaise with external consultants and tax agencies (e.g., external auditors, attorneys, external regulatory bodies, etc.).
Participate in financial and tax audits and inspections.
Collaborate and interact with all company departments on tax advisory matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Certified Public Accounting (Contador Público).
2 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
MS Office Suite (Required) - Advanced Excel skills.
SAP experience (Desirable).
Proficiency in SIAP software.
Experience with AI workflows (Desirable).
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid tax and accounting knowledge.
Dual-role capability: Comfort with highly operational tasks combined with high growth potential (strong teamwork and interpersonal skills).
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Strong interest and aptitude for in-depth accounting analysis.
Practical knowledge of Income Tax, VAT, Gross Income Tax, and tax collection regimes.
