We are building a resilient, secure enterprise data platform and need a Chief Database Administrator (DBA) to lead stability and operations end-to-end. You will own Oracle 19c as the primary platform while administering PostgreSQL and MongoDB, coordinating with vendors and application teams, and acting as the top escalation for production incidents. Responsibilities

Operate and support Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB database environments
Maintain database stability, performance, availability, and security across enterprise systems
Coordinate with external vendors, managed service providers, and offshore support teams
Join a rotating 24x7 on-call support model
Deliver after-hours coverage for critical incidents, maintenance activities, and production releases
Act as a senior escalation point for database outages and performance degradation
Uphold established SLA and operational support commitments
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues
Collaborate with app

Requirements

Proven track record of 7+ years of enterprise Database Administration experience
Deep expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including extensive hands-on work with Oracle Database 19c
Strong experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
Hands-on proficiency with RMAN, Performance Tuning, and SQL and PL/SQL
Practical administration experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Solid Linux/Unix administration experience
Background supporting large-scale mission-critical production systems
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience partnering with external vendors, managed service providers, and offshore support teams
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
