Description
The Quality Assurance Editor ensures the overall quality of deliverables created by the Learning Solutions team. This role involves reviewing and editing materials for grammar, spelling, clarity, visual consistency, and effectiveness. The editor collaborates closely with project teams, the Quality Assurance Manager, and onshore editors to maintain high standards and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities

Content Review & Editing – Reviewing/editing training deliverables to ensure they meet high standards of quality. This includes checking for grammar, spelling, clarity, logic, & visual consistency. They ensure all content aligns with client specifications and organizational guidelines.

Quality Assurance Process Management – Coordinating with project managers and COE leads to implement and follow established QA processes throughout each project. The editor flags major quality issues and works collaboratively with project teams to address them promptly, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and to specification.

Continuous Improvement – Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the quality assurance workflow. Contribute to the development of best practices for editing and quality assurance, sharing insights and recommendations with team members to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness in delivering high-quality materials.

Content Quality – Error rates in edited deliverables

Efficiency – Turnaround time for editing deliverables relative to deadlines and adherence to project schedules and timelines

Process Improvement – Frequency and resolution of flagged quality issues during review
Key Skills

Advanced level of English; strong oral/written communication skills in English

Exceptional attention to detail and copyediting expertise

Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in healthcare, life sciences, social sciences or related field.

Expertise in MS PowerPoint (e.g., master slides, formatting) and MS Word (e.g., track changes, templates)

Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro

Maintains strong familiarity with AMA guidelines
Preferred:

Experience writing or editing training materials and e-modules

Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
