Responsibilities

Build and architect backend services that meet established standards for performance, scalability, and reliability

Take part in architectural discussions that influence the future direction of our systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into practical technical solutions

Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code across the services you build

Perform code reviews for teammates to help maintain consistent quality and standards

Investigate and resolve complex issues affecting application performance and stability
-
Support the successful deployment and continued operational health of cloud-based applications
-
Contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and workflows
-
Participate in planning sessions to define scope and estimate effort for future initiatives

Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers throughout the development process
Requirements
-
At least 3 years of relevant experience
-
Solid understanding of software development principles, including SOLID and clean architecture
-
Demonstrated experience building cloud-based, microservice-oriented backend services
-
Strong Python backend experience, including core Python, dependency management with Poetry, the FastAPI framework, and async programming with Asyncio

Experience designing and developing Angular single-page web applications

Experience with RxJS, NgRx, and Nx
-
Experience working with Node.js

Cloud experience with Azure
-
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD

Excellent communication skills
-
Understanding of scalability, performance, and reliability across distributed systems

Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications

Proficiency with Docker

Knowledge of cloud fundamentals, preferably Azure, with AWS considered a plus
-
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
-
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, with GitOps or ArgoCD considered a plus

Experience with Go (Golang) considered a plus

Good communication skills

Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
