The Logistics Safety Leader for Latin America is responsible for defining, driving, and sustaining the regional logistics safety strategy, ensuring consistent deployment of logistics safety programmes and governance across all LA operations.
The role focuses on strengthening our Safety Culture, across the region by promoting safety leadership, ownership, and accountability at all levels. The person will be responsible for driving our continuous logistics safety improvements through robust KPIs monitoring, field engagement, and cross functional collaboration. The role will also ensure the robust governance of EVD/iPOMS, leading root cause analysis (RCA), and promoting strong field engagement.
Own regional EVD and iPOMS governance, tracking adoption, data quality, and performance against targets.
Define, monitor, and report logistics safety KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Participate in and support Safety eCAPs audits, ensuring calendar adherence, clear action plans are defined based on audit gaps, and actions are closed on time.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, Safety, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or safety roles, with direct exposure to logistics safety risk management.
Proven experience driving safety programmes in complex, multicounty operations, preferably across Latin America.
Demonstrated experience managing chemical dangerous goods safety and chemical warehousing risk management, including handling, storage, transportation, and regulatory compliance requirements in logistics operations
Solid understanding of transportation safety, chemical transfer risk, contractor safety, and logistics operational risks.
Ability to influence and lead without direct authority, engaging cross functional stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Safety).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership.
Demonstrated success in driving safety culture transformation, including behaviour-based safety, visible leadership, and speak up culture.
