The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the administration and support of employee benefits programs across Latin America (LATAM), with a primary focus on Argentina and support for other countries in the region as applicable. This role partners closely with employees, vendors, HR Operations, Payroll, and the Global Benefits team to deliver an outstanding employee experience, ensure compliance with local legislation, and support the effective management of health, wellness, retirement, leave, and other benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities

Administer and support employee benefits programs across LATAM, including health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, leave programs, and other employee benefits.

Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, providing guidance and resolution in a timely and professional manner.

Partner with the Benefits Manager and HR teams to resolve complex benefits issues and improve processes.

Manage relationships with external benefits providers, brokers, and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.

Support the administration of disability, leave of absence, and employee wellness programs in accordance with local legislation and company policies.

Coordinate benefits-related communications, educational materials, webinars, and employee information sessions.

Assist with annual benefits renewals, enrollment activities, and implementation of benefit changes throughout the year.

Collaborate with Payroll and HR Operations teams to ensure benefits deductions, leave payments, and employee records are accurately processed.

Ensure compliance with local labor laws, social security regulations, tax requirements, and mandatory benefits programs across LATAM countries.

Support audits, regulatory reporting, and benefits documentation requirements.

Maintain accurate benefits data within Workday or other HRIS/benefits administration systems.

Analyze benefits trends, employee feedback, and utilization data to recommend program improvements.

Support global benefits initiatives, including mental health, wellbeing, family support, and employee experience programs.

Document and continuously improve benefits processes, procedures, and standard operating practices.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.

2+ years of experience supporting employee benefits administration within Latin America.

Strong understanding of benefits administration processes, including healthcare, insurance, retirement, wellness, and leave programs.

Knowledge of labor regulations and statutory benefits requirements in Argentina and/or other LATAM countries.

Experience working closely with payroll processes related to employee benefits and leaves of absence.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues and recommend solutions.

Experience managing projects, programs, and process documentation.

Experience with Workday (preferred) or other HRIS/benefits administration systems.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Experience supporting benefits programs across multiple LATAM countries.

Experience in leave of absence and disability administration.

Knowledge of health insurance and retirement program administration in Argentina and broader LATAM markets.

Experience managing third-party benefits vendors and insurance providers.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and employee benefits platforms.

Experience supporting employee wellbeing, mental health, and wellness initiatives.

English proficiency sufficient to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.
