The Financial Consultant – US CFO FP&A is responsible for delivering executive reporting, financial planning and analysis, and technology-enabled insights that support strategic decision-making across MetLife’s US business segments, including Group Benefits, Retirement & Income Solutions (RIS), and MetLife Holdings in the United States. This role plays a critical part in enhancing financial storytelling, improving reporting scalability, and enabling data-driven decisions aligned with MetLife’s financial strategy.

- Lead the development and delivery of executive-level financial reporting and presentations (QFS, QFR, ECP, DBR, Ratings materials) ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strong financial storytelling.
- Create high-quality, structured presentation materials translating financial results into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Oversee the integrity and validation of financial data sourced from Power BI, reporting systems, and internal models.
- Manage relationships with FP&A leads and cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging, outputs, and reporting timelines.
- Develop scalable, technology-enabled reporting processes leveraging Power BI, automation tools, and AI solutions (e.g., Copilot).
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to improve data flows, reduce manual processes, and support financial analysis across business segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field, applying strong financial and accounting knowledge to FP&A and executive reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, leveraging these tools to build robust financial analysis and executive presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to produce executive-quality outputs.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or consulting environments.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or data analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation processes.
- Interest and exposure to AI tools and prompt engineering, applying innovation to improve finance workflows.
