Purpose
Lead and coordinate the scheduling team's activities, ensuring accuracy across all engineering and construction schedules. Build strong relationships with internal functions and clients, and provide leadership in the selection, development, and performance of planning and scheduling staff.
Key Functions
- Coordinate and oversee the work of schedulers across assigned tasks
- Assess and ensure accuracy of all engineering and construction schedules
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other company functions
- Present scheduling procedures and reports to clients
- Guide technical staff, review work for accuracy, and plan and control project deliverables
- Contribute to recruitment, training, and performance assessment of planning/scheduling staff
- Communicate effectively at all levels — from project personnel to clients
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree (or equivalent) in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling
- Proven experience in EPCM/EPC project execution, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Background in mining sector projects
- Experience in major projects (over one billion dollars)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Ideal / Nice-to-Have
- Experience working in the Andean region of South America
