OBJECTIVE:
Be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Products Architects, and people with very diverse but specific skills such as UX, storytelling, Data Visualization, Python Scripting and deep-industry knowledge. Contribute as a core team member, driving end-to-end change and results for our clients. We are looking for an out-of-the-box thinker, passionate about innovation and agile development.
RESPONSABILITIES:
This role aims to maintain the data foundation for the Finance analytics products and the semantic models that translate raw financial results into trusted data visualization solutions for the rest of the Finance function. It partners with our business experts to shape visual frameworks that derive action-oriented insights.
Collaborate with UX and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and data visualization needs, assessing feasibility and suggesting creative answers to business questions.
Maintain and refresh connections to databases and queries to streamline data ETL processes into Power BI semantic models.
Maintain and develop semantic models consistent with best practices, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate to create engaging and interactive data visualization solutions that provide clear and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Implement appropriate access controls and data protection measures to ensure data security.
Troubleshoot issues that may arise to ensure a smooth, timely experience for end users.
Engage in research and stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques, independently suggesting improvements to existing tools.
Requirements:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology).

Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures.

Proficiency in Python scripting and experience with relevant data engineering tools and frameworks.

Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in deploying and managing data solutions in the cloud.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work in an agile and collaborative environment.
Skillset

Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation, ETL processes, and automation.

Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data in relational databases.

Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark

Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Hands-on experience with cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics.

Proficient in version control to manage and track changes in code (GIT)

Containerization (Docker): Understanding of containerization for deploying and managing applications.

Familiarity with agile development practices.
