About the role
SharedEasy operates around 400 beds across 20 properties in New York City, with 5–7 room types per property, dynamic pricing, varying rules, and constantly shifting availability. This role exists to convert inbound demand against that complexity — fast, accurately, and with the kind of trust that prevents downstream cancellations. You will receive warm leads from our website. Your job is to qualify them, match them to the right room across our live inventory, set clean expectations, and close the booking. This is a high-performance inbound conversion role. It rewards people who think in systems, hold complex information in their head under pressure, and close confidently without being aggressive.
What you'll do
- Respond to inbound leads within 15 minutes during work hours
- Qualify prospects quickly: budget, dates, room type, must-haves
- Match clients to the right room across 20 properties and 100+ room configurations
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings with payment
- Set hard expectations on deposits, refund policies, and house rules — to prevent cancellations and disputes downstream
- Operate inside our CRM with daily discipline: clean pipeline, follow-up cadence, accurate notes
Track your own conversion rate, response speed, and booking accuracy
- Collaborate with operations and finance for smooth move-ins
- Adapt in real time as inventory, pricing, and rules change weekly
Who we're looking for
You will succeed in this role if you:
- Have personally operated against a large inventory in a prior sales role — multiple properties, SKUs, or account books. You can describe how many items you managed and how you kept track of them.
- Have closed deals on commission before. You're comfortable asking for the payment when the moment is right.
- Process information fast and stay organized when things change weekly.
- Communicate in fluent, professional English — written and spoken — at a level US buyers trust.
- Have worked remotely on performance comp before. You manage your own time without supervision.
- Stay composed when buyers are skeptical, frustrated, or testing you. You don't fold under pressure and you don't pressure-sell to compensate.
- Treat the CRM as your workspace, not a chore.
You will likely struggle in this role if you:
- Come from a pure customer service or support background with no closing experience. - Have only sold one product at a time, in one location.
- Need scripts, brand awareness, or warm introductions to perform.
- Prefer slow, relationship-driven sales cycles.
Schedule
- Default: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST
- Flexibility required: Schedule may temporarily rotate to Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday with prior notice, based on business needs
Compensation
- Base salary: $1,000 USD/month, guaranteed
- Performance bonuses: Uncapped — paid on every confirmed booking
- Realistic total earnings: Consistent performers earn $2,500–$3,000+/month. Top performers earn more.
- No commission caps. No ceiling on what a strong operator can build.
Employment terms

- 2-month fully paid probation period
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year (one week per 6 months of work)
What this role is not
- Not customer support. Do not apply from a pure CS background.
- Not outbound prospecting. Inbound leads come to you.
- Not script-based call center work. Every conversation requires judgment.
- Not a slow-cycle relationship sales role.
