DISTRICT SALES MANAGER

Role Overview:
The District Sales Manager’s responsibilities include identifying professional development opportunities for sales employees, encouraging positive employee relations, and continually sourcing new sales opportunities. They set reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the district sales team and ensure that those targets are met.
They are responsible for recruiting and training sales personnel, managing district sales operations, and evaluating employee performance.
· Mentors, coaches, and counsels a team of professional medical representatives.
· Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within the district.
· Develop good relationships with all major accounts to grow business and find new business opportunities.
· Exercise accountability, productivity, and discernment.
· Manage the development and performance of PMRs within the assigned territory.
· Create an efficient sales plan by analyzing current market conditions, organizing and defining objectives, planning a program of action, measuring success, and instituting corrective measures as needed.
· Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies.
· Monitors and provide required reports for ongoing sales programs.
· Monthly review of sales performance and recommend appropriate action plans.
· Performs ANNUAL SWOT analysis for the annual team performance.
· Identify and summarize successful programs or strategies and recommend the next action plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
· At least Two (2) years of experience as a District Sales Manager in a Pharmaceutical Company.
· Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
· High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
· Ability to build relationships with clients.
· Comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
