Bilingual Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager — Remote, Colombia
Southern Injury Attorneys is seeking a highly organized and experienced Bilingual Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join our remote legal team.
This is not an entry-level position or a general customer-service role. Applicants must have prior experience handling personal injury matters for a U.S. plaintiff-side law firm.
The successful candidate will manage personal injury cases from claim opening through demand preparation or transfer to litigation. This position requires excellent client communication, consistent follow-up, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently move cases forward under attorney supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters during the pre-litigation stage.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients in English and Spanish.
- Open insurance claims and communicate with adjusters and insurance carriers.
- Prepare and send letters of representation and other case correspondence.
- Obtain insurance information, police reports, medical records, bills, photographs, and supporting documents.
- Monitor client treatment and promptly identify treatment gaps or other case concerns.
- Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, documents, and task lists in the firm’s case-management system.
- Communicate with medical providers and follow up on outstanding records and balances.
- Prepare medical chronologies, case summaries, and demand-package materials.
- Assist with lien and balance verification when appropriate.
- Provide clients with regular case-status updates.
- Identify problems, missed deadlines, and important developments and promptly escalate them to the supervising attorney.
- Protect confidential client and firm information at all times.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of recent experience with a U.S. plaintiff-side personal injury firm preferred; candidates with one year of strong, directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience managing motor-vehicle accident cases in pre-litigation.
- Advanced English proficiency at the C1/C2 level or equivalent, with near-native spoken fluency.
- Ability to communicate naturally and professionally with U.S. clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance representatives.
- Professional fluency in Spanish.
- Excellent written communication, organization, follow-up, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with limited supervision.
- Experience using personal injury case-management software such as Filevine, CASEpeer, Litify, Clio, or a comparable platform is strongly preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet, a professional home workspace, and equipment suitable for confidential legal work.
- Availability to work full-time during U.S. Central Time business hours.
Compensation
$1200 to $1500 per month, depending on verified personal injury experience, English proficiency, case-management ability, and software knowledge.
This is a full-time, long-term remote opportunity.
