About the role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Delivery Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO to design, build, and maintain data integration and web scraping solutions that power our platform, ensuring the data we collect is reliable, accurate, and able to scale as we grow. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will drive new initiatives and continuously optimize our existing data pipelines to support our expanding product portfolio.
What you will do

Solution Design: Design, build, test, and maintain scalable Python-based solutions for first-party and second-party data integrations and web scraping.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering and product teams to define integration and scraping requirements for internal and external data sources.

Data Extraction: Develop efficient, maintainable scraping solutions to collect data from websites, APIs, and other digital platforms with high accuracy.

Partner Integrations: Implement systems that incorporate second-party data from external partners, ensuring compliance with data-sharing agreements.

Performance Optimization: Improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of large-scale data extraction processes.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues across scraping, integrations, and related infrastructure to keep data pipelines reliable and secure.
What you will need

2+ years of Python engineering experience (or equivalent expertise, e.g. ~5,000 hours of deliberate practice), with a strong focus on web scraping and data integrations.

Hands-on expertise with Python and relevant libraries such as BeautifulSoup and Selenium.

Experience working with first-party and second-party data, integrating information from APIs, web scraping, and partner data systems.

Proven ability to scale scraping operations, including proxy management, IP rotation, and solving anti-scraping challenges.

Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for storing and processing scraped data.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment.
