The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst – Regional Business is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis activities for the US Group Benefits Regional Business (RB) segment in the United States. Regional Business serves employers with fewer than 5,000 employees across four market segments: U100, 100–999, 1000–4999, and PEO/Payroll & Staffing, generating approximately $1.2B in annual sales and $6.4B in premium and fee revenue.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance and business leaders, develop financial insights that drive growth strategies, and leverage AI and technology-enabled solutions to enhance financial planning, reporting, and analytics capabilities.

Lead monthly forecasting, quarterly financial reviews, and annual planning processes for the Regional Business segment.

Develop detailed financial projections and customer-level variance analyses for sales, revenue, and key business drivers across products.

Oversee the preparation, review, and communication of financial results and insights for senior Finance and business leadership meetings.

Manage financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate analysis of trends, variances to plan, and year-over-year performance.

Develop flexible financial models and business case analyses to support strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and decision-making.

Coordinate with the Regional Business Strategy team and cross-functional Finance partners to provide analytical support and ad hoc financial modeling.

Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, including AI and technology-based solutions that enhance efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, business analytics, or financial modeling.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the development of complex financial models and executive-level presentations.

Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) – mandatory requirement.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of data and multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex financial concepts to business leaders.

Proven ability to translate business strategies into financial assumptions, forecasts, and actionable insights.

MBA, Master's degree, Actuarial designation, or other advanced financial qualification.

Experience supporting Group Benefits, Insurance, Employee Benefits, or related financial services businesses.

Knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI for data analysis, automation, and visualization.

Experience designing and implementing scalable, efficient financial planning and reporting processes.

Working knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
