We are expanding our Argentina-based global shared service Accounts Payable team with a Middle Accountant role. You will manage AP bookkeeping under US GAAP, execute bank payments, and complete SAP close activities while supporting audits and stakeholder requests. Responsibilities

Assess expenditure supporting documents and verify the correctness of accounting attributes

Process domestic and international wire transfers and run batch or individual bank payments to EPAM counterparties

Execute US GAAP bookkeeping for expenditures by type and record linked accounts payable and bank payment entries

Complete month-end close for assigned SAP accounts by adhering to established procedures

Engage with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping issues when necessary

Provide explanations and supporting documents to the Senior or Lead Accountant for relevant companies when required

Address internal and external inquiries, participate in meetings, and supply audit support documentation

Participate in process improvement work with the IT development team, identify improvements, and test enhancements
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

At least 2 years of relevant accounting work experience

MS Office proficiency with strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting

High level of detail orientation and commitment to compliance standards

Demonstrated ownership and responsibility for assigned work

Ability to work within established rules, procedures, and internal controls

Proven ability to collaborate as a team player in multicultural environments

English proficiency B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, spoken and written
Nice to have

ACCA or DipIFR certification
