The North America Procurement Financial Analyst plays a key role in the Supply Chain Finance organization for the region by supporting the NA Procurement Finance team through the Annual Plan, Forecast cycles, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting support for NA Procurement-related cost, purchase price variance (PPV), and material cost trends. The analyst will help drive insights on regional purchases, unit cost and material cost drivers, and the current and future financial impact of procurement spend, while supporting material savings tracking and savings initiatives across the North America Procurement Organization.
What You Will Do:

Support the regional financial calendar for Annual Plan, Forecast cycles, and month-end close by coordinating inputs, validating data, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.

Prepare monthly reporting and analytics for Procurement spend, including PPV, year-over-year cost changes, and material cost drivers; summarize key insights for stakeholders.

Support month-end close activities for Procurement Finance (accrual support, variance explanations, reporting packages) by compiling data, performing validations, and drafting commentary.

Analyze trends and variances driven by external factors (e.g., feedstock changes, foreign exchange) and internal factors (e.g., volume/mix); investigate drivers and highlight risks and opportunities.

Support the Annual Plan and Forecast processes by gathering materials cost assumptions, standard cost impacts, and PPV outlook inputs; maintain documentation and assumptions files.

Partner with Procurement and Division teams to identify, quantify, track, and report savings opportunities (e.g., net structural savings, gross margin initiatives) by maintaining trackers and supporting governance routines.

Collaborate with Division Finance and Global Supply Chain Finance on materials variance analysis, forecasting, and Rate-Volume-Mix (RVM) analytics to support decision-making.

Deliver ad hoc analysis for Procurement Finance and Procurement stakeholders (e.g., supplier/commodity insights, scenario modeling) and translate findings into clear, actionable takeaways.

Drive continuous improvement in reporting and planning processes (automation, standard work, and data quality) by proposing enhancements, building templates, and supporting documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Minimum 2+ years of accounting, finance, FP&A, or analytical experience (procurement, supply chain, or costing exposure a plus).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to work with large datasets and deliver accurate, repeatable reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Costing, procurement finance, or supply chain finance experience preferred.

Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP and/or EBS) and financial planning/reporting tools (e.g., EPM).

Understanding of the company P&L and how Procurement actions impact cost, margin, and profitability.

Forecasting and budgeting experience; comfort working with assumptions, drivers, and scenario analysis.

Experience managing large datasets and data extraction from multiple systems; Power BI (or similar) experience preferred.

Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely; strong PowerPoint skills to translate analysis into executive-ready content.
