About QOLMT ( https://www.qolmt.com/)
QOLMT develops wearable sensing systems focused on human movement, physiological sensing, embedded systems, and real-world validation. We are building a multi-sensor wearable platform that combines embedded firmware, sensing technologies, local gateway infrastructure, and validation tooling into a production-oriented system. We are seeking a Wearable Physiological Sensing Engineer who has real industry experience working with physiological sensing technologies and embedded systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role. We are not looking for researchers, data analysts, AI engineers, web developers, or candidates whose experience is limited to university projects. We are looking for engineers who have personally integrated sensors, debugged hardware, investigated signal-quality issues, and delivered working systems.
This role is not Frontend development, Web development, Mobile app development, AI/ML model development, Data science, or Research-only positions.
What You Will Do:
- Integrate physiological sensing technologies into embedded systems.
- Support sensor bring-up, validation, characterization, and debugging.
- Investigate signal-quality, noise, reliability, and field-performance issues.
- Develop firmware, validation tools, and diagnostic utilities.
- Work with SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, interrupts, timers, and embedded peripherals.
- Create Python-based tools for validation, analysis, automation, and evidence generation.
- Review datasheets and evaluate new sensing technologies.
- Work closely with firmware, hardware, gateway, and validation engineers.
- Contribute to product development from prototype through operational deployment.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in embedded systems, physiological sensing, wearable technology, medical devices, biomedical instrumentation, or related fields.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Working Python proficiency for tooling, validation, diagnostics, and automation.
- Experience with STM32, Nordic, ESP32, or similar embedded platforms.
- Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, interrupts, and hardware debugging.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, or equivalent debugging tools.
- Experience integrating sensors into embedded systems.
- Ability to independently investigate and solve technical problems.
Strongly Preferred Experience:
One or more of:
- ECG acquisition systems
- PPG systems
- Heart-rate monitoring systems
- Physiological monitoring devices
- Biomedical signal acquisition systems
- Optical sensing systems
- Wearable physiological sensing platforms
- Signal-quality validation and characterization
Application Requirements:
Please send your application to: [email protected]
Please include resume, GitHub profile (if available), firmware project examples, description of systems you personally implemented and answers to the pre-screening questions below:
- Describe the most difficult sensor integration you personally completed including sensor type, embedded platform used, your responsibilities, technical challenges encountered, and how you solved them?
- Have you worked professionally with any of the following: ECG, PPG, Heart-rate monitoring, biomedical signal acquisition, wearable physiological sensing? (For each item selected, describe your direct contribution.)
Applications without answers to the pre-screening questions will not be considered.
