We are looking for a Senior SRE Engineer to build and support an API management platform within Azure cloud environments. The role is hands-on, requiring senior-level expertise in infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines and API management solutions, with the ability to contribute to multiple ongoing projects while collaborating effectively within the EST time zone.
Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain API management solutions, primarily Microsoft APIM

Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible within Azure

Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, mainly using Jenkins and Azure DevOps
-
Collaborate with a diverse team to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues
-
Provide expertise and recommendations based on experience with different API management platforms

Participate in multiple projects, adapting to shifting priorities and resource constraints

Contribute to ongoing initiatives with senior-level hands-on engineering work
Requirements

3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related DevOps roles

Strong background in API management platforms such as Microsoft APIM, Tyke or Kong

Extensive hands-on expertise in Terraform, Ansible and Azure cloud environments

Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance with Jenkins and Azure DevOps

Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills in problem-solving and adaptability to changing priorities

English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have

Experience with more than one API management platform such as Tyke or Kong

Familiarity with other cloud providers or hybrid cloud setups

Knowledge of a broader DevOps toolset
