We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to a GCP-based data platform initiative. This role centers on developing and maintaining data pipelines and analytics infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, helping build a scalable and reliable data ecosystem that drives reporting and analytics across the company.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines leveraging Dataflow on GCP

Develop and fine-tune data models and queries within BigQuery

Create and maintain reporting and analytics layers with Looker (or comparable BI tooling)

Contribute to the design and ongoing evolution of the wider GCP Data Platform

Apply data governance best practices, covering access controls, data quality, lineage, and documentation across pipelines and datasets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert data requirements into scalable technical solutions

Monitor and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance and reliability
Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering

Understanding of GCP-based data platform architecture

Proficiency in BigQuery, covering schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning

Expertise in Dataflow for developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines

Familiarity with Looker or comparable BI/analytics tooling

Skills in SQL and knowledge of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modeling)

Fluent Spanish speaker with English at B2 level to support team collaboration
