To support this mission, Syngenta’s is seeking a Supply Quality Manager South in Ciudad de Buenos Aires. This role ensures the implementation of Syngenta's regional Quality strategies across supply and commercial operations, with a strong focus on customer complaint management, logistics quality, continuous improvement, and product integrity for both Syngenta and third-party products.
Accountabilities

Quality Culture, Training & Influence: Act as a Quality ambassador within the organization. Deliver training and guidance to supply, planning, customer operations, and commercial teams. Influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Supply & Logistics Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality requirements for warehouse and transport operations across the South. Plan, execute, and follow up on quality audits and assessments of logistics suppliers and warehouses.

Customer Complaint Management: Lead the end-to-end customer complaint process and act as the main liaison between supply and all other areas.

Imported & Third-Party Product Quality: Manage quality decisions for imported products and third-party/biological suppliers (including those from external regions and international sites). Negotiate acceptance or rejection of non-conforming products with global stakeholders and procurement teams.

Continuous Improvement & Prevention: Drive quality improvement initiatives across supply and other functions. Identify systemic gaps, lead corrective actions, and develop Quality procedures at the CU level aligned with global and regional standards.

Major Incident & Non-Conformance Investigation: Lead investigations for major customer complaints and non-conformities within the supply scope. Coordinate with global production sites and regional Quality teams, ensuring timely communication to the Supply leadership.
Qualifications
Required

University degree required.

Analytical and financial acumen - ability to interpret data, understand product costs, assess business impact of quality decisions, and connect quality outcomes to commercial results.

Business partner mindset - demonstrated ability to work as a trusted ally to the business, balancing compliance with operational and commercial priorities without compromising Syngenta's reputation.

Syngenta leadership behaviours - stakeholder influence (ability to lead without authority), customer centricity, agile decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

Basic digital literacy - comfortable working with digital tools, systems, and data to manage quality processes and reporting.

Travel: Eventually domestically and internationally.

Language: fluent English.
Desired

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, RCA methodologies, or continuous improvement frameworks.

Experience with third-party products, biologicals, logistics audits, or import/export quality processes.
