Louis Hernandez Jr.'s Foundation For A Bright Future ("For A Bright Future," "FABF") is a US-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of underrepresented and underprivileged children through education, healthcare, the arts, and youth leadership development.

To achieve this, we foster relationships among local communities, businesses, schools, and donors as we work towards our vision. Our comprehensive programs encompass a range of initiatives, from scholarship programs to healthcare and innovative project-based learning pilots, such as our leadership development training and the Media Lab and Financial Technology (Fintech) Innovation Lab programs. These labs offer hands-on experience and equip students from diverse backgrounds with the skills and confidence they need to excel in today's fast-paced and dynamic workforce.
Position Overview:
We believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add to great work. We're seeking someone with excellent marketing skills to join our foundation marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning skills and the ability to create engaging social media posts with minimal supervision from the Director of Operations and Development. Strong writing skills are a must, as the candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality content. We are looking for a creative individual who can transform a vision into visually appealing designs, so proficiency in graphic design is essential. Basic knowledge of the Wix website builder and SEO is required. Familiarity with Google Ads is a plus but not mandatory. The candidate should also have experience in social media strategy and building organic communities.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement comprehensive social media and marketing plans and strategies.

Create and publish engaging content for various marketing channels, such as social media, blogs, and email marketing.

Assist with the coordination of marketing events and promotions.

Monitor and report weekly on the performance of marketing activities.

Collaborate with the team, such as graphic designers and copywriters, to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.

Maintain marketing materials and assets (organizing and filing).

Optimize SEO, track and report performance using advanced metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns.

Possess basic video editing skills to create social media snippets.

Experience in Wix website designing, updates, and maintenance.

Set up and manage email campaigns.
-
Edit and proofread content to ensure adherence to high editorial standards.

Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal teams to generate company-approved press releases.

Ensure proper backup of all website files to local directories for recovery.

Ensure adherence to best practices across digital platforms.

Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects.

Perform additional marketing and web design responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:

Social Media Marketing experience is required.

Complete mastery of writing and speaking English.

Experience in SEO.

Experience with social media platforms such as Hootsuite for scheduling and monitoring.

Experience using email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact.

Proficient in various media and graphic design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

Independent, proactive, and intelligent. He or she can figure things out independently but will ask for help/clarification when needed.

Highly organized and able to quickly learn new material.

Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.

Bachelor's degree in marketing or business with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Strong conceptual and execution skills, with a focus on branding.

History of designing persuasive digital marketing campaigns.
