We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Sales Cloud) to support a large-scale Salesforce transformation and enablement initiative in a client-facing delivery setup. The main focus will be on Sales Cloud / Service Cloud and adjacent business capabilities around the Salesforce ecosystem.
The engineer is expected to operate as a senior hands-on contributor who can take ownership of features and problem areas end-to-end, rather than executing pre-decomposed user stories. This role requires strong autonomy, proactive discovery, and readiness to work in a fungible team model where responsibilities may span Salesforce platform development, configuration, administrative functions, integrations, and adjacent Java-based services when needed.
The client is intentionally moving toward a more cross-functional engineering model, so adaptability, technical curiosity, and comfort working beyond a single platform boundary are essential.
Responsibilities
-
Own delivery of features, problem statements, or scoped outcomes with minimal supervision
-
Proactively clarify gaps, identify risks, and drive technical decomposition instead of waiting for fully detailed stories or step-by-step direction
-
Work across Salesforce development, configuration, and administrative responsibilities depending on delivery needs
-
Contribute to technical discovery, implementation planning, estimation, and solution design discussions
-
Support platform-level needs when required, including flows, permissions, configuration, deployment support, environment hygiene, and administrative changes
-
Collaborate effectively with adjacent systems and services, including Java-based integrations where relevant
-
Apply AI-assisted and spec-driven engineering practices where appropriate to improve clarity, speed, and delivery quality
-
Communicate directly with US stakeholders and internal counterparts in a professional and reliable manner
Requirements
-
3+ years of Salesforce experience, especially in Sales Cloud / Service Cloud
-
Hands-on expertise in Salesforce engineering capabilities such as Apex, LWC, and Flow
-
Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL, integrations, and deployment workflows
-
Solid understanding of Salesforce performance, bulkification, and governor limits, along with debugging and quality practices
-
Practical capability to operate across both development and administrative/platform responsibilities in Salesforce environments
-
Background in working from feature scope and business intent, not only from fully detailed user stories
-
Flexibility to use adjacent technologies, including collaboration with or contribution to Java/Spring-based services where relevant
-
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding and engineering tools
-
Strong communication, self-sufficiency, ownership mentality, and comfort in a client-facing environment
-
Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
