Fixed Income Trader – Buenos Aires
We are looking for an experienced Fixed Income Trader to join our team in Buenos Aires. This is a hands-on trading role with full ownership of execution, strategy, and risk management across Argentine fixed income and FX markets.
What You'll Do
- Execute trades across ARS sovereign bonds, global bonds, and related FX positions
- Monitor market flows, liquidity, and pricing in real time
- Develop short- to medium-term trading strategies to capture market opportunities
- Track macro, monetary, fiscal, and geopolitical developments affecting Argentina's markets
- Manage credit, interest rate, and currency risk within approved limits
- Coordinate with risk and treasury teams on funding and balance sheet efficiency
- Maintain disciplined position sizing, stop-loss controls, and risk-reward management
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, market makers, and counterparties
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of trading experience with a verifiable P&L track record in ARS local currency bonds, global bonds, and FX
- Deep knowledge of Argentina's macro and political landscape, central bank policy, and debt issuance dynamics
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret complex market data quickly and act on it
- Proven risk management discipline in volatile market conditions
- Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or advanced degree is a plus
