Job Summary
The Business Manager (BM) is responsible for driving customer development, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring revenue growth within a designated territory. This role involves close collaboration with regional teams, shared services (legal, licensing, finance), and senior management to deliver GeoSoftware solutions tailored to local market needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
1- Sales & Marketing
- Conduct Market Opportunity Assessments (MOA) and adapt strategies to local trends.
- Collaborate on annual sales strategies with internal stakeholders.
- Create and execute strategic account plans targeting senior client leadership.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation, delivery, and collection.
- Expand account base with a focus on software licenses and M&S services.
- Utilize strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Sandler).
- Collaborate with Human Resources to establish and implement sales training programs focused on developing critical competencies in sales, management, and support roles.
2- Client Management
- Regularly engage with clients to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
- Identify and address client training needs.
- Manage expectations to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
- Track record of cultivating and maintaining VP and C-level relationships.
3- Financial Management
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to meet quotas.
- Drive year-over-year revenue growth.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and revenue recognition.
- Manage CRM data, forecasts, and overdue payments.
- Handle region-specific financial considerations (e.g., withholding tax).
4- Operational Excellence
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance (contracts, NDAs, etc.).
- Coordinate timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Represent GeoSoftware at industry events and trade shows.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation and campaigns.

Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline.
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience selling into enterprise accounts.
- Familiarity with strategic sales methodologies.
- Spanish Language.
- Located in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Desired:
- Experience in geological/geophysical software sales within the E&P industry.
- Regional experience in O&G markets.
- Multilingual capabilities and cultural fluency.
- Fluent in English.
Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
