The Actuarial Consultant – Group Valuation is responsible for leading the end-to-end reserve valuation and financial reporting processes for Group Insurance products in Argentina, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across Statutory, GAAP, and Tax frameworks.

The position also contributes to new product implementation and continuous improvement of actuarial models, tools, and processes, driving efficiency and scalability across the valuation function.
Lead end-to-end reserve valuation and financial reporting for assigned Group products, ensuring alignment with Statutory, GAAP, and Tax requirements- Create and maintain actuarial analyses, including explanation of reserve variances and earnings to business stakeholders
- Oversee the update, testing, and validation of assumptions for both new business and inforce portfolios
- Manage close calendar deliverables, including timely execution, review of results, and communication of key drivers to partners
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, ensuring consistency and compliance through periodic recertification
- Coordinate new product implementation activities from a valuation perspective
- Identify and implement enhancements across models, tools, and automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, applied to reserve valuation and financial analysis- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to work across multiple data sources and perform complex actuarial analyses
- Advanced Excel and data handling capabilities to support valuation processes and reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate actuarial results into business insights
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong partnerships across teams
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of deliverables
- Advanced level of english
Experience in reserve valuation and/or financial reporting within insurance or actuarial functions- Knowledge of actuarial modeling, research, and analytical methodologies
- Experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, VBA, Python, and/or PolySystems for data analysis and automation
- Demonstrated mindset of continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
