For a US based company, we are looking for a SENIOR FULL STACK ENGINEER.
Primary Stack
- React, Next.js, Node.js, tRPC (with GraphQL), and MedPlum as the backend EMR system.
- Work Distribution
- The work is approximately 70% front-end (Foco en React) and 30% back-end.
Front-End Focus
- Strong React skills — taking Figma designs and building enterprise-ready UI components
- Front-end performance optimization (page load times, API call optimization, observability and logging)
- Understanding of how to structure components effectively
Back-End Focus
- Lighter scope — mostly calling and optimizing APIs rather than heavy event-driven architecture
- MedPlum experience is a strong plus but not a dealbreaker; existing team members can help ramp people up
- A strong healthcare project background helps bridge any MedPlum knowledge gap
AI & Agentic Development
- Engineers receive enterprise Claude subscriptions and are evaluating Codex as well PRDs, specs, and transcripts are being stored in GitHub so AI agents have full context.
- Engineers are expected to think like product engineers — reading specs, understanding product intent, and asking smart questions
