At Siemens GBS, we play a crucial role in supporting Siemens' commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.
As a Material Compliance Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that the materials and products we procure from our suppliers meet stringent regulatory requirements and our internal standards. You'll be a key player in a global effort, working alongside GBS teams in other regions, and contributing to our compliance efforts across various markets.
What you'll be doing:
- Supplier Information Gathering: You'll be responsible for collecting essential information from our suppliers regarding the composition of their products. This involves diving into details to ensure we have all the necessary data!
- Compliance Champion: You'll guide suppliers through the process of identifying and declaring specific substances that are regulated by various norms. Your role is key in ensuring they understand the importance of these declarations and their impact on our products.
- Form Facilitator: You'll assist suppliers in completing necessary forms, ensuring they accurately report relevant information about substances present in their offerings to Siemens. Think of yourself as their go-to expert!
- Data Management & Reporting: You'll input this critical data into our compliance tools, generating reports that certify adherence to our standards. Your work ensures data integrity and actionable insights.
- Supplier Liaison: You'll act as the primary point of contact and "pusher" with our suppliers, explaining the compliance program, answering their questions, and ensuring they meet their obligations. You'll build bridges and foster cooperation!
- Escalation & Resolution: In cases where suppliers are unresponsive after multiple attempts, you'll skillfully escalate the issue to our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team for further action, ensuring no stone is left unturned.
- Team Collaboration: You'll be an integral part of dedicated GBS teams here in Argentina, contributing to both our local and global compliance initiatives. Collaboration is key to our success!
What we're looking for:
- Excellent English Communication Skills (Mandatory): You'll be interacting with a diverse range of global stakeholders, so strong verbal and written English is absolutely essential.
- Proactivity & Drive: We need someone who takes initiative, is self-motivated, and is eager to ensure compliance within a fast-paced GBS environment.
- Attention to Detail: You'll be working with important data and regulations, so a keen eye for detail and accuracy is a must.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: You'll be building relationships with suppliers and internal teams, so being approachable, a great communicator, and a team player is key.
What we offer:
- Comprehensive Training: We'll provide you with a thorough training program, including local courses and specialized training from our global teams, to get you fully up to speed. We invest in your success!
- Global Exposure: You'll be part of a global GBS team, collaborating with colleagues and suppliers from different regions and cultures.
- Impactful Work: Your contributions will directly support Siemens' commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices, making a tangible difference.
