- S&P Global is seeking a Senior Art Director to join "The 199," our in-house creative team, to bring brand strategy to life by transforming business objectives and customer insights into impactful creative work.
- In this role, you will oversee strategic visual communications across our four diverse business divisions and at the corporate level.
- This position requires the strategic, engaging, effective, and customer-focused development of a wide range of marketing materials, such as multi-channel campaigns inclusive of print, digital, video, websites, and social media assets.
- You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, designers, and writers to craft the visual and verbal expression of our brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic thinker, developing and executing creative solutions that align with—and at times push—the boundaries of our brand.
- Turn complex marketing challenges into relevant and revenue-generating visual experiences across creative campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Bring original, impactful creative concepts to life from start to finish while effectively managing multiple projects and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate across the team to deliver cohesive creative solutions, rapidly synthesizing and iterating on feedback when necessary.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations to key stakeholders that effectively convey concepts.
- Understand our company, target audiences, and global financial markets to deliver creative solutions that fulfill business objectives.
- Act as a leader on the team with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Key Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience as an Art Director across mediums, including digital, print, experiential, branding, and video.
- Must provide a portfolio of exceptional work that demonstrates skills and experience; this must include B2B or financial services experience.
- Must be fluent in English and able to present in English.
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in design, art direction, or a comparable field, with an emphasis on foundational design principles and visual problem-solving.
- Expertise in using the Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools, and Figma.
- Must maintain a high degree of craft and attention to detail in all creative work.
Desired skills
- Exceptional typography skills with an attention to detail, an understanding of visual hierarchies, and the know-how to finesse type and establish harmonious visual systems.
- Broad knowledge across multiple communication vehicles: digital, web, print, corporate ID, systems-based design, guidelines, video, and environmental design.
- Demonstrate a passion for storytelling and the potential for all aspects of design—typography, motion, copy, and imagery—to visualize our brand in bold, compelling ways.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
