We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to support a .NET-based insurance platform that powers quoting, policy management, document generation, integrations, and reporting.
As the platform transitions from a monolithic architecture to a modular, service-oriented model, key functions like document generation, payments, and notifications are being shifted to microservices and APIs to boost stability and scalability.
In this role, you will help build out a new environment in the Central Azure region, migrate production services, and later rebuild the environment in the East Azure region, following infrastructure as code practices and proper naming standards.
Responsibilities

Build out a new environment in the Central Azure region following infrastructure as code practices and proper naming standards

Migrate production services to the newly built Central region environment

Rebuild the environment in the East Azure region after the Central migration is complete

Design and implement Azure environments from scratch using Terraform, including modules and state management

Execute CI/CD-driven deployments through Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps

Perform cutovers from manually-built infrastructure to IaC without causing production outages

Support the transition from a monolithic architecture to a modular, service-oriented model based on microservices and APIs

Ensure stability, scalability, and reliability of platform services across environments
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role

Expertise in Terraform, including building Azure environments from scratch, modules, and state management

Proficiency in CI/CD-driven deployments using Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps

Hands-on background in Azure, App Services, and Identity

Skills in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (K8S)

Competency in Azure networking, Key Vault, and Cosmos DB
-
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Application Insights

Capability to execute migration mechanics, including cutover from manually-built infrastructure to IaC without a production outage

Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
