Currently, we are inviting an Accountant to join our global shared service Accounts Payable group in Argentina. Play an important role and help us strengthen our high-performing team.
Responsibilities

Examine expenditure documentation to confirm accuracy of all accounting information

Coordinate and execute payments to EPAM vendors, managing both domestic and international wires, as well as batch and individual transactions

Record company expenses in line with US GAAP, including related accounts payable and banking activities

Perform monthly account closing tasks in SAP, following established internal procedures

Collaborate with local statutory accountants to resolve any bookkeeping matters

Supply explanations and supporting records to Senior or Lead Accountants for all assigned entities when needed

Respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders, participate in meetings, and prepare documentation for audits

Contribute to process improvement projects with the IT team, identify areas for optimization, and assist in testing new processes
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

At least 2 years of professional accounting experience

Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting

Strong focus on detail and adherence to compliance requirements

Proven responsibility and commitment to task ownership

Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures

Motivation for ongoing self-improvement and skill development

Collaborative team player with experience in multicultural work environments

English proficiency at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken
Nice to have

ACCA or DipIFR certification

Practical experience using SAP for accounting tasks
