Data & Document Management Associate Manager

Join the Business Data Architecture team and help drive the integrity, quality, and operational effectiveness of master data that supports key business functions across Finance, Human Resources, Rates, and other enterprise systems.

As a Data & Document Management Associate Manager, you will lead a team responsible for master data operations, support business transformation initiatives, and partner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with evolving business needs. This role combines people leadership, stakeholder management, operational oversight, and continuous improvement, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex business challenges through data management and process optimization.

You will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing guidance on master data processes, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement while ensuring operational stability and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support master data management activities across Finance, HR, Rates, and other business functions.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective master data solutions.
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of master data changes across systems, processes, and business functions.
Ensure data quality, operational continuity, and compliance with established governance and business standards.
Develop and execute testing, validation, and implementation plans to support system and data changes.
Identify opportunities to improve master data processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall stakeholder experience.
Monitor operational performance and ensure services are delivered in accordance with established expectations and priorities.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of professionals, fostering collaboration, engagement, and high performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of business initiatives on master data structures and processes.
Act as a trusted advisor for master data-related topics, providing guidance on risks, dependencies, and best practices.
Communicate progress, risks, and key activities to leadership and stakeholders.
Support ongoing business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Operations, Business Operations, Shared Services, or related areas.
Experience leading or coordinating teams and managing workload across multiple priorities.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in complex business environments.
Strong understanding of operational processes, service delivery, and continuous improvement principles.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and client relationship management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, or other enterprise systems.
Experience developing testing strategies and implementation plans for system or process changes.
Experience managing service-level expectations, operational metrics, and performance reporting.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and master data processes.
Experience supporting Finance, HR, or enterprise data management functions.
Exposure to large-scale business transformation or system implementation initiatives.
