Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.
Create and maintain performance test scripts using K6 and/or Apache JMeter.
Perform load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
Analyze test results and identify application, database, infrastructure, and network bottlenecks.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, SRE, and architecture teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left quality practices.
Generate performance reports and provide recommendations for system optimization.
Monitor application performance using observability and APM tools.Participate in capacity planning and production readiness activities.
Support root cause analysis for performance-related incidents in non-production and production environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with K6 and/or Apache JMeter.
Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and web applications.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience analyzing JVM, application, database, and infrastructure performance metrics.
Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST, TCP/IP, caching, and distributed systems.
Experience with SQL and database performance analysis.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk
Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using:GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
