About the Role
We are looking for a Accounting Specialist with advanced QuickBooks expertise and advanced/bilingual English to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our U.S. business.
This role reports directly to the U.S. Finance team and requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accounting information is timely and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities using QuickBooks (Advanced)
- Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger transactions
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Review and maintain financial records with a high level of accuracy
- Assist with financial reporting and management reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborate daily with the U.S. Finance and Operations teams
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
Requirements (Must Have)
- Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (required)
- Advanced/Bilingual English (required) — you will communicate daily with the U.S. team
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles (semi-senior level)
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience performing account reconciliations and month-end close
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
- Availability for hybrid work model in Palermo, CABA
