We are looking for a Middle Accountant to strengthen our global shared service Accounts Payable team in Argentina. You will support payments, reporting, and month-end close while ensuring accurate US GAAP records. Join us and apply today
Responsibilities

Verify expenditure support documents to ensure accounting information is complete and accurate

Execute and control bank payments to EPAM partners, covering local and international transfers, including batch and single transactions

Maintain US GAAP expense records by category and document related accounts payable and banking transactions

Perform monthly closing activities for assigned SAP accounts in line with company guidelines
-
Coordinate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping questions when needed
-
Provide explanations and supporting documentation to Senior or Lead Accountants for all relevant entities upon request
-
Respond to internal and external inquiries, participate in meetings, and supply audit support documentation

Contribute to process improvement initiatives with the IT team, assess enhancement options, and help test new solutions
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting roles

Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and reporting
-
Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to compliance standards

Demonstrated accountability and clear ownership of assigned tasks

Ability to work within established policies and procedures

Motivation for continuous learning and ongoing professional development

Collaborative mindset with experience in diverse, multicultural teams

English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or above, written and spoken
Nice to have

ACCA or DipIFR qualification

Practical experience using SAP in an accounting environment

Familiarity with Accounts Payable or Treasury functions
