We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support a GCP-based data platform initiative. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines and analytics infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, contributing to a scalable and reliable data ecosystem that powers reporting and analytics across the organization.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Dataflow on GCP

Develop and optimize data models and queries in BigQuery

Build and support reporting and analytics layers using Looker (or similar BI tooling)

Contribute to the design and evolution of the broader GCP Data Platform

Apply data governance best practices, including access controls, data quality, lineage, and documentation across pipelines and datasets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability
Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering

Solid understanding of GCP-based data platform architecture

Proficiency in BigQuery, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning

Expertise in Dataflow for building batch and/or streaming data pipelines

Familiarity with Looker or equivalent BI/analytics tooling

Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modeling)

Fluent Spanish speaker with English at B2 level for team collaboration
