Australian architectural practice is seeking to expand its local team and is looking for an experienced Architect with a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience across Residential, Commercial, and Educational projects.
You will work closely with the Director and Project Architect on a diverse range of mid-rise residential, commercial, and educational developments. The role offers exposure to all project stages, from concept design through to Construction Certificate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider design team.
- Prepare and coordinate architectural documentation.
- Liaise and coordinate with project consultants.
- Participate in all project phases, from concept design to construction documentation.
- Work from home in a full-time capacity.
- Report daily to the Uruguay office.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- A recognised Architectural Degree (UBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience.
- Experience in mid-rise residential, commercial, and educational projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (essential).
- Strong documentation and detailing skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and project stakeholders.
Desirable (Not essential)
- Previous Australian project experience (Not essential)
- Working knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), Australian Standards, and local Council requirements. (Not essential)
