We're a team that genuinely cares about building great products — and we need someone who shares that mindset. We're looking for a Software QA Engineer who doesn't just tick boxes, but actually thinks like a user. You'll help keep our automation healthy, work within our CI/CD pipeline, catch bugs before users do, and flag when something just doesn't feel right from a UX standpoint. If you love testing, enjoy working with AI tools, and want to make a real impact — we'd love to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright
- Work with our CI/CD pipeline and help keep it running smoothly
- Test our web apps, APIs, and how things look across different devices and browsers
- Put on your 'user hat' — spot UX issues and share ideas on how we can improve the experience
- Use AI tools to speed up test creation, self-healing automation, and test prioritization
- Write clear, well-structured prompts to get the best out of AI testing tools
- Log bugs clearly so developers know exactly what's going on
- Think beyond the happy path — come up with edge cases and tricky scenarios that others might miss
- Bring your coding chops to the table — help build or improve the test environment and infrastructure
- Bring ideas to the table on how we can keep improving our QA game
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering
- Good hands-on experience with Playwright
- A solid grasp of how software testing works and what good looks like
- You've worked with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems — and know your way around them
- You've used AI-powered tools in your testing workflow — for test generation, self-healing, or test prioritization
- You know how to prompt AI tools well to get useful, accurate test scenarios
- Experience testing web apps, APIs, and responsive layouts
- You communicate clearly — whether writing a bug report or explaining an issue to a non-technical teammate
- You naturally think about edge cases — not just what should work, but what could break
- You have a coding background — you've built test infrastructure, scripted automation environments, or done real development work
- You're self-motivated and work well remotely without needing a lot of hand-holding
Nice to Have:
- You've done performance testing before
- You've worked on or around e-commerce platforms like Shopify
- You have experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: Remote
