As a Planning Analyst, you will coordinate and improve all aspects related to production and ensure the appropriate service level for the technologies under its responsibility through proper management of customer orders and production capacities. You will conduct short, medium, and long-term analyses to anticipate capacity and finished goods supply risks. You will control production orders and providing visibility to production lines through detailed plans aimed at achieving the best results in efficiency, inventory management, and obsolescence reduction.
You will report to the Planning Coordinator and you will work 4 days at our site located in Munro and 1 home office day.
Responsibilities
Production Planning and Scheduling

Develop detailed production plans, considering installed capacity, staffing, market demand, and available resources.

Ensure production is scheduled to meet production targets and delivery deadlines. Create production orders for the technologies under responsibility, looking for maximum equipment optimization through collaboration with the production team.
Resource Optimization

Manage resources such as labor, raw materials, equipment, and space.

Minimize costs and downtime while maximizing productivity and use of available resources.

Evaluate capacity planning scenarios in the short, medium, and long term, anticipating capacity issues, and participate in and support action plans.
Activity Coordination
-
Collaborate with different departments such as production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure all activities are completed smoothly and comply with established quality standards.

Help communication between production and customer service; resolve any issues that may arise within the responsibilities to meet the service level goals established by the company.
Data Analysis

Collect and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to increase operational efficiency from a planning perspective.

Produce and report main production indicators to provide statistical data that supports continuous improvement programs.
Regulatory Compliance

Ensure that the production plan complies with health and safety regulations and applicable environmental regulations.

Work within quality standards, safety standards, industrial hygiene requirements, and good manufacturing practices.
Continuous Improvement:

Participate in continuous improvement programs to improve production processes, reduce waste, and improve the quality of the final product.
Inventory Management:

Maintain adequate finished goods inventory levels and customer safety stock levels to meet demand requirements. This includes monitoring of inventory levels and demand changes for the proper parameterization of material masters, and production adjustments to avoid obsolescence or write-offs (W/Off).
Requirements
-
Advanced student or graduate in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

2 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Production, or related roles within industrial environments.

SAP / MRP: basic or intermediate knowledge.

Advanced Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) skills.

Knowledge of data analysis tools

Intermediate English.
