About Mule Extracts
Mule Extracts is a cannabis distributor operating in Oregon and New Jersey, producing vape products, gummies, pre-rolls, and cartridges. We sell to licensed dispensaries on standard net terms, which means accounts receivable is the lifeblood of our business.
We're hiring a full-time Collections Specialist to take ownership of our daily AR workflow and drive down outstanding balances. You'll work directly with the Owner, our seven sales reps, and our customers to keep cash flowing and accounts current.
What You'll Do
- Review the full aging report each morning across both Oregon and New Jersey operations
- Prioritize and contact past-due accounts via phone, email, and text
- Negotiate payment commitments and set up payment plans
- Coordinate with sales reps on problem accounts and escalate when needed
- Log every customer interaction with clear, timestamped notes
- Monitor accounts approaching terms expiration and reach out proactively
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of B2B collections or accounts receivable experience
- Proven track record recovering past-due balances and reducing DSO
- Confident, professional phone presence
- Strong written English for customer and internal communication
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own daily workload
- Tech-savvy: ERPs, dashboards, and spreadsheets
- Reliable internet, quiet workspace, overlap of at least 6 hours/day with US Pacific hours
- Based in Latin America or Africa with strong English fluency
Bonus:
- Experience in cannabis, beverage alcohol, food, or regulated B2B distribution
- Familiarity with Distru, Sigma Computing, or Supabase
- Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation & Details
- Pay: $8–$15 USD/hour depending on experience (~$1,400–$2,600/month)
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday
- Location: Fully remote — Latin America or Africa
- Contract type: Independent contractor
- Payment: Bi-weekly via Wise, Deel, or Payoneer
- Start date: Immediate
