The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and assessing customer needs within the assigned geographic area to determine which products and services best meet their requirements. This role drives business development in line with corporate objectives while promoting the positioning of Fluence's products and services within the target market segments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for customers and contracts within the assigned territory, including regular business travel to visit customers and monitor service quality.

Drive business development within the assigned territory by identifying new opportunities with both existing and prospective customers through technical and commercial visits.

Present Fluence's products and services to prospective customers in a professional and effective manner.

Develop and coordinate technical and commercial solutions by proactively leveraging Fluence resources and exercising sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

Coordinate with internal departments such as Field Service, Sales, Engineering, and other relevant teams to ensure effective customer support.

Develop and maintain a database of existing and prospective customers to support direct marketing initiatives and business development activities. Assist in the development of commercial and marketing materials.

Analyze customer portfolios, purchasing patterns, sales volumes, and other relevant information to develop effective sales strategies. Maintain and organize customer portfolio information, analyze results, and report progress to the Supervisor.

Record all commercial activities and opportunities in the company's business management system in compliance with internal procedures.

Support the Finance team in managing customer accounts, including payment collection for products and services sold.

Manage customer claims efficiently and effectively, including issues related to deliveries, collections, returns, and other service-related matters.

Comply with all Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures and promote compliance among team members.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Academic level: Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a commercial role within the water treatment industry.

Knowledge of water treatment processes and membrane technologies

Must be based in Córdoba Province
