Currently we are searching for an Accountant to become part of our global shared service Accounts Payable team in Argentina. Be a key contributor and help us elevate our exceptional team even further!
Responsibilities

Review expenditure support documents to ensure all accounting details are correct

Initiate and manage bank payments to EPAM partners, handling both local and international transfers, including batch and single transactions

Maintain US GAAP records for company expenses by category and document related accounts payable and banking transactions

Carry out monthly closing activities for designated accounts in SAP, adhering to company guidelines

Liaise with local statutory accountants to address any bookkeeping questions as needed

Deliver explanations and backup documentation to Senior or Lead Accountants for all relevant entities when requested

Address internal and external inquiries, join meetings, and provide audit support documentation

Engage in ongoing process improvement initiatives with the IT team, evaluate opportunities for enhancement, and participate in testing new solutions
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting roles

Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel for analysis and reporting

Excellent attention to detail and dedication to compliance standards

Demonstrated accountability and ownership of responsibilities

Ability to operate within established policies and procedures

Eagerness for continuous learning and professional growth

Effective team member with experience working in diverse, multicultural teams

English language skills at B2+ level or above, both written and verbal
Nice to have

ACCA or DipIFR qualification

Hands-on experience with SAP in an accounting environment

Familiarity with Accounts Payable or Treasury functions
