We are scaling our global finance support and are seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to manage LatAm payroll accounting and related US GAAP bookkeeping with high accuracy. You will reconcile payroll data across systems, address complex cases, support audits, and help improve payroll accounting processes—apply today.
Responsibilities

Lead payroll accounting for selected EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm, including US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities covering standard entries and accruals

Check and reconcile payroll data across internal systems to maintain accuracy and consistency

Assess complex payroll situations and provide well-grounded resolutions

Work with other departments through cross-functional cooperation

Provide responses to audit requests and participate in regular meetings with external and internal auditors

Support local audits, especially on payroll-related matters

Identify improvement opportunities and help test newly implemented changes as part of ongoing process improvement with other teams

Create ad-hoc reports upon request
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting

Minimum 3 years of relevant professional background

Advanced proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel capabilities

Hands-on ERP systems experience, with SAP as a plus

Experience related to company acquisitions considered beneficial

High accountability, keen attention to detail, and ability to handle information from numerous sources

Solid spoken and written English skills (B1+ level or higher)
