Position Summary
This position is remote-based and open to candidates located within Latin America. The role requires 15% travelling, including both day and overnight trips. The main objectives of the travel requirements include meetings at Key Account offices, attendance at relevant business conferences, and proactive engagement in events that will support business development for Beta Analytic, LLC.
We are seeking a motivated, service-driven professional to join our business development team. The Account Manager will play a key role in expanding our client base and supporting our partners across the Geosciences and Archaeology fields, and companies within the renewable chemistry, oil & gas, and waste & emissions industries in the Latin American market. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, a solution-oriented approach, and a genuine passion for these sectors.
This role focuses on promoting Beta Analytic, LLC’s specialized testing services, developing strategic relationships, and achieving regional revenue targets. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between clients, our technical teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and long-term cooperation.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and develop new business opportunities across the Geosciences and Archaeology fields, and companies within the renewable chemistry, oil & gas, and waste & emissions industries.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients through regular engagement
- Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their 14C testing needs and match them with appropriate Beta Analytic, LLC services
- Present tailored service proposals, clearly communicating the value Beta Analytic, LLC can provide to support client goals
- Deliver presentations online or in person, adapting communication style to effectively engage diverse audiences
- Attend in-person meetings and confidently communicate with key decision makers at companies and governmental institutions
- Collaborate internally to ensure smooth project handover and service delivery
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation to sample submission
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and meet established performance KPIs
- Provide feedback and market insights to management to support sales strategy development
- Represent Beta Analytic, LLC at key trade shows, seminars and academic events to enhance brand visibility and strengthen industry presence.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that clients receive high-quality service aligned with expectations
- Uphold Beta Analytic, LLC professional and ethical standards at all times
- Continuously develop personal knowledge in Beta Analytic, LLC services to better serve clients
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, geology, archaeology or a related scientific field (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in technical sales, project coordination, or customer service (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted client relationships (required)
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities (required)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English & Spanish is required. Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
Compensation
This role includes an hourly fee and commission, depending on experience and qualifications.
