Role Summary
The Senior Solution Integration Lead is responsible for designing and managing how different software systems, networks, and third-party vendor products work together within Tecnotree's Digital BSS solutions. This role owns the integration testing phase end-to-end — from tracking and deployment through validation and issue resolution — working closely with analysts, account managers, solution consultants, architects, and product owners to ensure every delivered solution genuinely fulfils end-user requirements. Beyond the technical ownership, the Senior Solution Integration Lead acts as a brand ambassador at customer sites, combining hands-on engineering depth with the communication skills needed to represent Tecnotree professionally in high-stakes, multi-vendor implementation environments.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Integration Ownership & Delivery
- Hands-on Solution Integration experience across multiple E2E Digital BSS transformations spanning Mobile, Fixed Line, and Broadband services for Tier-1/Tier-2 CSPs across Americas , Europe or Global markets.
- Lead Integration workshops taking full ownership of the integration testing phase, working collaboratively with analysts, Account Managers, Solution Consultants, Architects, and product owners to align on scope and outcomes.
- Own tracking, deployment, and testing activities end-to-end, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure the delivered solution fulfils end-user requirements.
- Ensure the solution delivered is rigorously validated against both the customer's functional and non-functional requirements before Solution Integration sign-off.
- Apply Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and TM Forum industry standards ( ODA , Open APIs , eTOM, SID ) throughout the design lifecycle, ensuring solutions are consistent, interoperable, and aligned with industry best practice.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive fixes for all identified issues through to resolution.
Technical Coordination & Support
- Ownership of Integration architecture & Design , documentation of sequence & Data flow diagrams
- Communicate directly with software developers and engineers to secure timely resolutions for problems arising within the integrated solution.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks across integration, testing, and deployment activities, improving efficiency and consistency.
- Create and maintain a knowledge base, along with trackers and Integration documentation, in line with defined organizational processes.
- Provide technical assistance to L1 and L2 support teams, delivering structured knowledge transfer (KT) and hands-on problem analysis.
Customer Engagement & Representation
- Participate in integration, deployment, and customer training and engagement activities directly at customer sites, requiring willingness to travel internationally.
- Assume the role of brand ambassador for Tecnotree, displaying a professional demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
- Build customer confidence through clear, responsive communication and a genuine customer-orientation mindset throughout the engagement.
- Ability to drive decisions across multiple teams & mentor integration engineers
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Telecom & Domain Knowledge
- Strong, demonstrable capability in designing Integration Data Model & services using Microservices Architecture, including service decomposition, API design, and integration patterns.
- Apply strong, hands-on Telecom domain knowledge across Digital Channels, Product Catalog , CRM, Charging & Billing, Collections, Order Management, Integration, Inventory Management, and Network Provisioning to inform every integration decision via Domain-Driven Design
- Maintain a working understanding of how these BSS domains interconnect within a broader telecom operator ecosystem, including OSS and network-layer touchpoints where relevant
- Working knowledge of TM Forum industry standards, including Open APIs, the Business Process Framework (eTOM), the Shared Information/Data Model (SID), and the Telecom Application Map (TAM).
- Knowledge of event-driven systems, including schema design, orchestration, mapping, and exception handling.
- Experience leading SIT ( Systems Integration Testing ) & E2E Integration testing , Production readiness and cut-over activities for Phased BSS transformations.
Integration Architecture & Protocols
- Strong experience with data architecture and application architecture in complex, multi-system environments.
- Practical familiarity with Event driven architectures, Microservices, Spring Boot, Open APIs, SOAP, RESTful services, ESB/Integration Layer, API Gateway and other relevant open-source frameworks used in technology implementations.
- Working knowledge of architectures and protocols including MOM, XSLT, SOA, UDDI, EDA, REST, XML, FTP, WSDL, and SOAP, Kafka
- Familiarity with web services and web servers, and how they fit into broader integration landscapes.
Technical & Engineering Skills
- Experience with Dockerization and Kubernetes & Cloud-native technologies is required.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD integration practices and tooling.
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments, with proficiency in MongoDB, SQL and Python scripting.
- Experience on NFRs such as High Availability , Resilience , Performance , Observability , Multi-cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience with AI Agents , LLMs, MCP servers , RAG and Agentic AI concepts & Integration frameworks
Data & Database Engineering
- Experience with databases required, with a preference for NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of database engineering using MongoDB, alongside SQL development skills.
Quality, Testing & Delivery Practices
- Strong experience in Integration test strategy , test plan and test case preparation, execution, and test result reporting, along with bug tracking and reporting.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery cadences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues independently.
Professional & Interpersonal Skills
- Comfort working in an international environment with multiple stakeholders , vendors, technology teams & implementation partners
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, suited to technical and customer-facing conversations alike.
- A quick learner with strong initiative, comfortable operating with a degree of ambiguity in fast-moving implementation environments.
- Mandatory willingness to undertake overseas travel for implementation as required.
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience across the technologies, domains, and skills outlined above.
- Prior experience within the Telecom domain (OSS/BSS) is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
