Responsibilities

Lead delivery of an enterprise-grade AI platform built with Python and AWS

Define architecture choices that keep production reliable across multi-environment deployment pipelines

Coach and mentor the team on backend engineering practices and AI integration

Integrate large language models into applications with strong prompt engineering and agent delegation
-
Manage cloud infrastructure as code using AWS CDK
-
Design and iterate on distributed systems with an emphasis on system architecture

Perform code reviews and drive reduction of technical debt

Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Docker
-
Ensure quality and performance via testing strategies and load testing
Requirements

Proven 5+ years of experience with Python (3.11+), including async/await patterns and Pydantic data modeling

Advanced expertise in FastAPI for delivering production REST APIs

Solid background in LLM/AI agent engineering, ideally with Anthropic Claude
-
Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including EKS, RDS, and S3
-
Strong proficiency in SQL and data-layer technologies such as SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL

Practical experience with AWS Bedrock & AgentCore for managed LLM hosting

Demonstrated ability to build CI/CD pipelines and contribute to system design

Proven technical leadership skills with a track record of mentoring engineers

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
Nice to have

Experience building modern frontend apps with React + TypeScript

Familiarity with pytest-based testing strategies and E2E testing tools

Knowledge of LLM observability and evaluation tooling such as Langfuse

Understanding of OpenTelemetry & Datadog for distributed tracing
